ECNL Regional League Restructures for 2025-26 with Two NorCal Divisions
This fall, the ECNL Regional League will introduce two divisions in Northern California: ECNL RL – Golden State and ECNL RL – NorCal, each tailored to different club needs.
- Golden State will serve as a second-team league for existing ECNL clubs, enhancing player development and competition while aligning with ECNL schedules.
- NorCal will feature around 20 top-tier first teams per age group (U13-U18), with opportunities for smaller clubs to qualify. Top-performing teams may earn ECNL promotion.
Both leagues will compete separately, with qualifiers advancing to the ECNL Regional League West Playoffs and participating in national ECNL events.
