Dallas Cup 2022 Set to Kick Off
Dallas, Texas – If the youth soccer locals of Dallas Fort Worth don’t think they are spoiled enough with the Generation Adidas Cup then they get the cherry on top with Dallas Cup 2022 set to kick off. Soccer fanatics look forward to this upcoming week each and every year.
The Historic Dallas Cup: April 9-17
To gain an understanding of what the Dallas Cup stands for take a look at the archives of past champions dating all the way back to 1980. The Dallas Cup attracts teams from all over the globe. This years tournament will have over 250 teams both boys and girls age groups competing. In the past, the Dallas Cup has historically been an all boys tournament.
The Deets
A select few featured matches will be played inside the Cotton Bowl in Fair Park downtown Dallas. You can purchase tickets here. The rumor is that the Cotton Bowl has the best grass field in America.
- Opening ceremonies and a triple header inside the Cotton Bowl on Sunday, April 10th.
- Matches played at the Classic League Soccer Complex at Richland College are FREE.
- A lot of local Dallas teams participating.
- 30 countries represented on the pitch in this years tournament.
- The champions of each age group hoist the famous “Boot and Ball” trophy.
