Disclaimer: FTLOS is aware that there are elite youth tournaments for specific age groups such as the Premier SuperCopa. This is a tournament that features the top teams in the U9-U11 age groups. It’s a great tournament that attracts teams from all over the country.

7 of the biggest & best youth soccer tournaments in the US

Disney Soccer Showcases – Orlando, FL

The Disney Soccer Showcases are split up into three different events:

• Disney Junior Showcase for boys & girls U11-14 held on Thanksgiving weekend annually.
• Disney Boys Soccer Showcase for U15-U19 teams takes place on the last weekend of December.
• Disney Girls Soccer Showcase for U15-U19 teams takes place on the second weekend of January.

This is not only a very competitive tournament played at a world class facility, but it is also gives time for teams to spend time with Micky & Mini Mouse at the amusement parks.

Nexen Manchester City Cup – San Diego, CA

A relatively new tournament compared to the historic Surf Cup that runs annually. The Nexen Manchester City Cup attracts top talent from across the nation from U9-U19 in both the boys & girls age groups. Along with great competition, you’re in San Diego near the ocean! Any team looking for a bucket list tournament, look no further than the Nexen Manchester City Cup or any of the Surf Cup tournaments presented by Surf Cup Sports.

Dallas Cup – Dallas, TX

The Dallas Cup. Say no more. The most prestigious youth soccer tournament in the US for U12-U19 teams. Invitation only. The first edition of the tournament was held in 1980. There are valid claims that is also one of the best international youth tournaments too. Held annually on the week of Easter. Teams from all over the world head to the lone star state in an attempt to be crowned Dallas Cup Champions.

Some past champions include Real Madrid, Sao Paulo, Lagos Stars (Nigeria), SC Corinthians, Dallas Texans, Everton, Fulham, Solar SC, River Plate, Eintracht Frankfurt, and FC Dallas. Back in the day it was a boys only tournament, but since then the girls age groups have been added.

Target USA Cup – Blaine, MN

Held annually in July, the Target USA Cup is considered the largest youth soccer tournament in the US. With around 1,200 teams from all over the world participating, you can expect to have a great experience. The tournament is held at the National Sports Center on 860 acres. From the website “teams from all over the world play one another, trade pins, go to player dances and march in their team colors in front of thousands of cheering fans!”

Jefferson Cup – Richmond, VA

The 2023 Jefferson Cup will be held over four weekend’s in March. 2022’s event combined for over 1,700 teams! The Jefferson Cup is regarded as one of the top rated youth soccer tournaments in the country. It features some of the nation’s top natural grass playing surfaces in the country with over 32 synthetic turf fields, including the River City Sportsplex, which is the nations largest turf complex.

The Nation’s Capital Cup – Fairfax, VA

One of the largest tournaments on the east coast is split up into a Girls Weekend & Boys Weekend. The girls event takes place November 12-13, 2022 while the boys are the following weekend on November 19-20, 2022. Age groups run from U9-U19. Aim for the 2nd and 3rd weekend of November for this annual tournament. Teams from all over the east coast gather in Fairfax, VA. You’ll find multiple divisions so your team can have the most competitive games possible.

International Rush Cup – Tampa, FL

Rush Soccer’s most elite event, the International Rush Cup, attracts teams both nationally and internationally from ages U13-U19 both boys & girls. Held in December in Tampa with a full lineup of events such as an opening ceremony, guest speaker and the tournament itself. According to Rush Soccer’s Instagram page, some pretty impressive clubs will be competing.
