Let’s make this short and sweet. Gregg Berhalter and US Soccer have just thrown up all over themselves in front of the country throughout their time at Copa America with arguably the “Golden Generation” of US talent.
The US got tossed out of the tournament last night after losing to Uruguay 1-0.
In a group with Bolivia, Panama and Uruguay the US fail to advance out of the group stage of Copa America that we are hosting.
Embarrassing.
Since Berhalter has been re-hired they have 7 wins, 6 losses, 1 tie and ZERO signature wins. The team looks to be regressing.
The players need to be held accountable for their trash performances, no doubt, but the coach is responsible for creating the culture, attitude & identity within the program.
Berhalter & others needs to be fired immediately and bring in a coach that can put US Soccer back on track to have a successful 2026 World Cup in the United States.
