- 40,000 seat capacity stadium. It will host five group stage matches, a round of 16 match and one quarterfinal.
- After the World Cup, capacity will be reduced to 20,000 seats. The other 20,000 seats will be donated to developing nations.
- Doha city center is only a few miles away. Fans will easily get to the stadium via roads and metro.
- Development surrounding the stadium includes Education City Golf Club, training fields, and shops/retail.
- Geometrical patterns in the shape of diamonds line the outer shell. With the sun rising and setting in the Doha sky, it appears to change color.
- The diamond patterns represent quality, durability, and resilience.
- Fans access the stadium by shaded walking paths with a gorgeous view of the stadium.
