Training Boost: Finishing
Nothing leaves a bigger impression than the ability to score goals. Finishing is about mastering the many ways to strike the ball—driven shots, volleys, half-volleys, chips, bends, headers, and more. Top scorers can even find the net with their chest, heel, toe, or thigh when the moment demands it. What coaches value most is a player who combines composure with controlled aggression, making quick, confident decisions at exactly the right time. The best finishers share a relentless, fearless mindset—they attack every chance, aren’t afraid to miss, and always believe the next opportunity will end in a goal.
